August 2006 Titanium Welding Facility at ParAid Machining Services A titanium welding facility has been added to the fabrication and welding division of ParAid Machining Services based in Tyseley, Birmingham, UK. ParAid already provides aluminium and stainless steel welding facilities. A number of companies already use the titanium welding facility, including an architectural door furniture manufacturer and the UK’s foremost designer and builder of wheelchairs, DaVinci Mobility. Vincent Ross, MD of DaVinci Mobility, is delighted with the service received, “As we are a bespoke manufacturer of very lightweight wheelchairs, each one is built to specification. We send ParAid a full set of drawings and a specification set and we are very impressed with the quality and turnaround.” ParAid Machining Services is fully equipped with modern machinery, has an enthusiastic and highly skilled labour force and services all customer requirements to the highest technical and quality standards. The company also offers CAD solutions from their dedicated, award-winning design team and provides fast and accurate quotations for those urgent jobs needed yesterday. “No job is too small”, comments Mark Wallace, ParAid’s general manager. “Our sub-contract machinists and powder coating specialists welcome small batch quantities”. |
