Information on the AbleTech Abletech Bath Lift is delivered assembled and ready for use - simply remove from packaging, read the instructions, adjust the setting for weight and place in the bath. It takes just a few minutes and when in place the suction feet prevent movement of the unit. The key to its reclining/elevating action is a unique system built into its base. Once you have taken up the position as you relax backwards the system, steadily and smoothly, reclines both the seat and backrest before locking in position. To reverse this process and return to the seated position, simply lean back, release the locking lever, easily accessible, under the seat and lean forward. In one smooth action you will return to a sitting position, ready to leave the bath feeling refreshed and relaxed. Abletech Bath Lift is CE marked. Chair Settings Abletech Bath lift is easily adjustable for all users and does not need any special tools. A) Simply remove the plastic hand star-nut from the metal plates beneath the seat and fully withdraw spindle between them. B) Select the appropriate hole in the setting plates and reinsert the spindle through the setting plates and the eye of the gas strut. Replace and fully tighten the hand star-nut.
